Sustainable Infrastructure and Energy Management
In addition to its modern infrastructure and high passenger capacity, Ercan Airport stands out with its sustainability-oriented energy investments. The high-capacity Solar Power Plant installed within the airport campus has been designed to supply a significant portion of the airport’s electricity demand from renewable sources.
This investment enables the airport to significantly reduce its carbon footprint, while setting a benchmark for energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and long-term operational sustainability.
