The school, project of which was drawn by Architect Dr. Kadir Topbaş, the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality,  and construction of which was completed in eighty days by businessman Emrullah Turanlı, was put into service in Çamlık Quarter in Çakmak in 2005-2006 academic year. 
Still operating as a primary and secondary school, there are 1409 students in primary school and 1139 students in secondary section of the school.
